FG Finally Announces N-Power Application Date and Requirement
The exercise which will be done online has been scheduled to begin on Friday,June 26.
This was confirmed in a statement by the Deputy Director of information, Ministry of Humanitarian affairs,Rhoda Iliya.
According to the Ministry, all applicants are mandated to include their Bank Verification number (BVN) in their application as failure to do so will make any application rendered void.Furthermore, former beneficiaries are not eligible to apply for the upcoming registration.
The Ministry also stated that Batch A beneficiaries will have their programme terminated on June 30 while Batch B will end theirs on July 31.
The Batch A and B beneficiaries were however assured that the Ministry has commenced their absorption into government entrepreneurship schemes and available private sectors.
The N-Power Programme was established in 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration under the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP). It was set up with the goal of empowering Nigerian youths and alleviating the high level of unemployment in the country.
